eBay Scam (May 2005): eBay Security Issues

Once again, eBay is the target of Phishing scams. You may receive an email that looks similar to this:

 

 

If you visit the web site link (which actually takes you to http://vds-351816.amen-pro.com/ ), you are sent to a web page that looks like a real eBay account signup page, but is not actually served from eBay:

 

DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM AND SUBMIT IT!!!!!
The 'Continue' button actually sends your form data (including all of your personal information) to:
http://vds-351816.amen-pro.com/<some identifier>PaymentLanding&ssPageName=BayISAPI.dll&secure=US.php
 

As you can see, this is not really eBay's web site, but rather a scammer.
